Facing the "inevitable"

Well, here we find ourselves in the supposed enlightened and peace-loving twenty-first century - and about twelve hours away from declaring war. It doesn't seem to matter how much we rally here over here in England or over on your side in the States, we are merely the little people who's voices don't matter. Our governments are so blind in their quest for power and wealth that they fail to see that we are entering another unwinable war; didn't the world learn anything from Vietnam, or even the first Gulf War? It seems not. All we can do is pray that lives aren't lost, which of course, would be something that would only occur with a miracle. After all, we little people don't count, do we?
