I wanted to thank you publicly for the large contribution you have made toward bringing gay Americans closer to being equals of straight Americans. Yesterday, on CNN, I saw the very end of you leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of the ceremony where President Obama signed the repeal of DADT. I was very happy to see you, a founding member of this cause, at the ceremony and that you had the honor of leading the pledge. (p.s. thank you for your previous kind reply.)
